About

About the blog: Reflective Equilibrium is a blog dedicated to the views and current work of its author. These will include views on politics, books, music, and most importantly, philosophy.

About the author: I am a graduate student in philosophy at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I graduated from Arizona State University in 2007 with BAs in Philosophy and Political Science. My main interests are in metaethics (esp. rationality, reasons, the concept of welfare), ethics (esp. contractualism), political philosophy (esp. Rawls, freedom of expression, reparations), epistemology (esp. Tim Williamson, externalism, epistemic rationality), the philosophy of language/logic (esp. vagueness), and the philosophy of mathematics (esp. second-order logic, ontology, and mathematical knowledge). I also have significant interests in metaphysics, history of philosophy (esp. Nietzsche, Locke, Mill, and Frege), history of mathematics, and (some) philosophy of mind.
